A bit about the venue (general vibe, layout, etc.)
The venue - we made ourselves myself (Stephanie) and my partner Cam. I’m an mixed experiences artist of 20+ years and he’s a creative handyman. Together we started with a blank canvas where we engaged local builders to fit the shell and then DIY’d pretty much all our little stage pieces and treasures. Most of our fit-out is being up-cycled from Facebook marketplace, local flea markets, Op-shops - giving them a new life or we’d make the pieces ourselves. Some of our other feature furniture pieces are sourced from other handmade local businesses.
We have a mid-century kind of vibe, with a dash of old ‘Palm Springs’, with a bit of a ‘Las Vegas’ neon graveyard hotel shine to it.

Can I come see the space before booking?
Absolutely! In fact we encourage it! She looks so much more vibrant in real life, feel free to get in contact to arrange a walkthrough tour of the space.
There is also a digital walk through video and lots of images on our website homepage, Gallery and Instagram.

What’s included in the hire cost?
Our prices are on the website under the section ‘Pricing’, this lists our Weekday and Weekend rates. These are for the times we’re open from 6am-10pm. If you would like to book something more specific or outside of these hours, we would be delighted to tailor a custom booking for you. Please email hello@vanishinghotel.com or txt/call 0415 382 007.
Our booking rate includes self check-in, 2 Free Carpark spaces [please arrange beforehand] Water & Tea/Coffee in minibar access. BYO Food/Drinks with kettle/microwave kitchenette setup & 2 deep sinks. We also have a Nightcap/Mini Cocktail Bar setup upstairs for BYO options.
Check out other local catering options in Currumbin Waters or email us for a list of extras we can recommend who can come to you; like entertainment for you small event, massage, home spa setup etc.
The price is inclusive of your own removal of rubbish/waste and a light clean. We offer a cleaning service for extra if you want to leave without the hassle of retuning the space to tidy. If the place is left unreasonably dirty an extra fee may occur.

How many guests it can accommodate seated in one session?
We allow/safely accommodate up to 50 people, we are an 18+ venue, with special permission for supervised minors where appropriate.

Do you offer catering?
We do not offer any catering services. The venue is setup with multiple wood service boards that match the aesthetic, napkins, paper cups, cocktail glasses upstairs, and fresh local spring water.
We are BYO for snacks/refreshments and beverages.
Please bring your own cutlery and serving plates.

Can I book last minute?
Of course you can! Sometime the best experiences are born of a whim! If you would like to make a last minute booking or arrangement you can txt/call 0415 382 007 and we will get back to you ASAP!
